About Buckland Abbey

Buckland Abbey dates back over 700 years and was once a monastery and later a home to Grenville and Drake who were seafarers from Elizabethan times.

Facilities

Craft fairs, Medieval re-enactments, Family activities, Walks, National Trust shop and plant sales, Guesthouse restaurant/tea-room, Baby-changing facilities, Children’s quiz/trail, Parent and baby room.
