Basildon Park (No Comments)

Basildon Park featured in the film Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen’s famous book. Dating back to the 18th-century, this beautiful mansion is set in extensive parkland.
Basildon Park was built in 1776 by John Carr for Francis Sykes and took 7 years to complete. It was rescued by Lord and Lady Iliffe after it had fallen into hard times during the last century.
