About Chedworth Roman Villa

Archaeological remains of one of the largest Romano-British villas found in Britain. Discovered in 1864 the site has revealed over a mile of walls as well as mosaics, bathhouses and water shrine.

Family trails, Shop selling a wide range of Roman and archaeological books, Snacks and drinks available in shop, Tea tent which serves hot drinks and sandwiches is open during school holidays and weekends, Baby-changing facilities, Family trails, Children’s guide and quiz/trail, Pushchairs and baby back-carriers permitted.
