About Cragside

Cragside was the amazing home of inventor Lord Armstrong. The house was the first in the world to be lit by hydroelectricity. A great place for the family also with adventure play area and labyrinth.

Facilities

National Trust shop selling plants as well, Stables Restaurant with Children’s menu, Baby-changing facilities, Baby slings and hip carriers for loan, Dogs permitted on estate with leads only.
